The Top Diet Pills Scam

August 10th, 2010

There are many different diet pills out there that claim to be the top diet pills. But they do not work. They don’t have the right ingredients, they don’t have the right amounts. And usually, they fall anywhere between the prices of about $5 and $50, depending on the popularity of the product and other factors of course. But there is one particular diet pills scams that I have found to be especially prevalent in the current market and even offensive to the common sense that I would hope that most would have.

It is known as the HCG diet. We all want to focus on hormones and all of the reasons why we are not to blame. There is a hormone called leptin that has been blamed for cravings, weight rebound, and other problems. And it is legitimate. But there is only one ingredient I’ve heard of that is proven to reduce the levels. And they find that proper diet and exercise is the best way to control leptin levels. Likewise, they have found that HGH levels significantly drop as you age. But you will find that unfortunately, the HCG diet, which sounds similar, is actually one of the biggest scams on the market. They claim to do many different things. And they market specifically to extremely obese patients, for whom it is actually easier to lose weight with the right diet and exercise plan. It is a pregnancy hormone, which is the first tip that it may not actually be legitimate.

But it goes beyond that. You quite literally pay hundreds of dollars for any HCG injection or supplement. And then they expect you to believe that you can burn up to 1 pound of fat per day. Burning a gallon size of fat is not going to happen in one day. But beyond that, the average HCG patient is obese and loses about 1 pound per day or less. This wouldn’t be so bad except for the fact that a healthy diet in most obese patients of anywhere from 1200 all the way up to 1800 calories per day could actually lead to far more significant weight loss. Patients on HCG are actually on a 500 calorie diet. And some are actually encouraged to not exercise due to extreme calorie restrictions that obviously cannot be followed in the long term. At the very least, you will find that doctors have found that there is no clinical proof to suggest that HCG promotes any weight loss. If anything, it seems that it provides less.

Erectile Dysfunction and Enzyte

February 3rd, 2010

Enzyte has been known for all of its claims about erectile dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, etc, and they have been seen on TV. Now of course, this isn’t an FDA approved substance, it’s not a prescription. And trust us, it would be a prescription if FDA approved, because they actually make far more money doing it that way than they do even selling through commercials like Enzyte does at this point in time.

This being said, the question that arises in many minds is does Enzyte actually address erectile dysfunction? Does it actually give you the greater results that you are looking for in that area, not just enhancements for healthy men. Well, you should know that there have in its short history been multiple lawsuits against Enzyte. The CEO of Enzyte has actually been put in jail since 2006 for charges of bank and mail fraud as well as money laundering along with his mother! This being said, the company went bankrupt and were bought out at that time by another larger corporation.

They talk about ED, sexual dysfunction, enhancement in general. So the question is, does it actually work? They have natural ingredients, some of which are applicable. For example, Enzyte has prostate healthy ingredients like saw palmetto, and they have natural aphrodisiacs such as horny goat weed. They have testosterone boosters like tribulus terrestis, and ideally speaking, this could work.

The problem is that they don’t have the right amounts of these ingredients. Without the right amounts, there is really nothing that Enzyte can do. And moreover, the simple fact is that many of their ingredients have nothing to do with the male system, erectile dysfunction, or any other things that would give you greater benefits in general. So obviously enough, while it looks good at first, it doesn’t quite measure up when it comes right down to it. But if you are looking for a great product that actually works and gives you real benefits, you can check out Orexis. Orexis has all the right ingredients, and it has the right amounts without wasting time like Enzyte does.

the best moisturizer

September 1st, 2009

When I buy a moisturizer, I look for more than just a face lotion.  I want more than just moisturizing properties.  While I’m moistening my skin, why not throw in some anti-wrinkle effects?  I want my money’s worth!

So what have I been using? I’ve tried both the Epuri Moisturizer and the Renuvie Age Defying Compound.  Though I do like both, I have to admit epuri is a better choice for me personally.  It may be different for you.  It’s important to use the product that works well for you.

Both products are amazing moisturizers.  They absorb well into the skin and keeps it moist all day long.  Renuvie is a heavier moisturizer.  I have sensitive skin, so although it was a great moisturizer, Renuvie left me feeling a little greasy.  epuri feels a little lighter for me.

The great thing about both products is that they moisturize AND help rebuild your skin.  My skin has jumped years back.  It looks smoother, healthier, and firmer. It’s not perfect, yet, but it’s slowly getting there.  I’ll have to keep using it to really show some astounding results.  Until then, I’m determined to use these products consistently.
